EU to discuss Russian visa issue at upcoming foreign ministers' meeting in Prague
EU foreign ministers will discuss visa restrictions for Russian nationals at a formal meeting on August 31 in Prague.
This was announced by the spokeswoman of the European Commission, Anita Gipper, reports "European Truth".
According to the message, on August 31, the ministers of foreign affairs of the European Union will discuss visa restrictions for Russians against the background of the war in Ukraine.
"I would like to remind you that on August 31 we will have an official meeting of EU foreign ministers in Prague. Discussions there will also touch on the issue of visas for Russians traveling to the EU," said Gipper.
Hipper noted that in the context of the visa issue, the European Commission is promoting a coordinated response at the EU level.
