Italy appoints new ambassador to Ukraine
On July 1, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs appointed Carlo Formosa as the new ambassador to Ukraine

The Italian Foreign Ministry reported this on Twitter.
"Congratulations to Carlo Formosa, new Ambassador of Italy to Ukraine," the statement reads.
Carlo Formosa served as Italy's Ambassador to Portugal from January 2020 to April 2024. In July of this year, he began his diplomatic mission to Ukraine, succeeding Pier Francesco Zazo in this position.
