EU countries to supply Ukraine with 500 power generators
Due to the damage of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure inflicted by Russia, the member states of the European Union will supply 500 generators to Ukraine

The European Commission announced the transfer on Telegram.
Power generators were delivered to Ukraine from 17 countries, namely Slovenia, Slovakia, Ireland, Austria, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Cyprus, Poland and France.
The European Commission noted that the equipment was allocated through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. The goal is to provide Ukrainians with access to electricity and heating.
