EU allocates another tranche of microfinance to Ukraine - €1.5 billion

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced this.
"The EU has been financially supporting economic stability and public services in Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's war against it. Today, we are providing a new €1.5 billion," she wrote on the social network X.
According to the President of the European Commission, the total amount of aid to Ukraine has already reached 85 billion euros.
"There will be more. We have offered 50 billion euros for Ukraine until 2027," von der Leyen emphasized.
- A month ago, on October 22, Ukraine received the ninth tranche of macro-financial assistance from the European Union in the amount of EUR 1.5 billion.
