The European Union agreed to consider Ukraine's application for the status of a candidate member of the EU. The deputies also agreed to consider applications for membership from Georgia and Moldova

This is reported by the publication AFP, informs Espresso.TV.

"The European Union has agreed to start the process of considering applications from Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova for membership", the statement said.

Representatives of the European Union made such a decision today, March 7.

Recall that several EU countries opposed granting Ukraine the status of a candidate country for EU membership this week.
