Correspondent Tetiana Vysotska reported this live on Espreso TV.

“So far, only Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have responded in Europe to Russia’s drone attack on Poland. The leaders of all three countries reacted on social media platform X. Of course, each official emphasized that pressure on Russia needs to be increased. They understand all the threats from Russia. All three Baltic states openly call this a Russian attack. Almost every post also mentioned the need to strengthen NATO’s eastern flank with air defense, and some posts spoke about enhancing Ukraine’s air defense systems as well,” Vysotska reported.

According to the correspondent, none of the major EU countries or institutions have responded to the attack on Polish territory.

“Actually, so far, the leaders of major European states have not reacted to this attack. However, there’s an interesting development, as Ursula von der Leyen is soon set to deliver her annual State of the EU address. We are all waiting to see her reaction, whether she will comment on this attack and what she might say,” she added.

  • Polish Armed Forces’ Operational Command put air defense systems and aviation on highest alert due to Russia’s night attack on Ukraine: Russian drones violated the country’s airspace. Search continues for downed drone sites.
  • As a result of a Russian attack on the night of September 10, drone debris fell on a residential building in a village in Poland’s Lublin Voivodeship. No one was injured.
