Errol Musk attends pro-Kremlin forum in Moscow backed by Putin’s inner circle
South African politician and entrepreneur Errol Musk, father of American billionaire Elon Musk, has arrived in Moscow to take part in a propaganda forum hosted by Alexander Dugin, the main ideologist of Russian fascism
This was reported on Saturday, June 7, 2025, by pro-Kremlin TV channels Ren-TV and Tsargrad.
The owner of Tsargrad, oligarch Konstantin Malofeev, who is closely tied to the Russian Orthodox Church, is the main sponsor of the event.
Musk Sr.’s remarks in Moscow
In a conversation with REN TV, Errol Musk said his son made a mistake by falling out with U.S. President Donald Trump. According to the elder Musk, Elon and Trump are both exhausted from the intense workload of the past five months, so the conflict between them is not surprising.
At the same time, the father of the Tesla and SpaceX founder believes Trump will come out on top in the dispute.
"Elon made a mistake, I think. But he’s tired, he’s stressed, continuous stress, stress, stress. And now, it’s just him and Trump left. And they still don’t know what to do, so they fight with each other, you know, until they can come to normal conditions," said Errol Musk.
He compared the Musk–Trump conflict to the Attica prison riot in the U.S. — the deadliest prison uprising in American history.
"A storm in Attica. But it's nothing. Too much stress, too much hard work for five months," he said.
Speaking to Tsargrad, he also commented on Elon’s relationship with Trump.
"You won’t believe it, but there’s nothing serious here. This is just because they’re both very impulsive. But Elon is stressed out now. That’s why it happened. But trust me, they’ll make up," Tsargrad quoted him as saying.
So what is this “forum” that Musk’s father is attending?
Errol Musk is listed as a speaker at the “Future Forum 2050,” set to take place in Moscow on June 9–10. It is organized by the Tsargrad Institute, which is run by Konstantin Malofeev.
The director of the institute is Alexander Dugin.
Forum topics include:
– "The Struggle for Souls and Minds. The Ideology of Sovereign Russia"
– "Russian Space. The Race for Mars"
– "Digital Sovereignty. AI at the Service of Russia"
– "Patriotic Education. The Image of a Hero of Our Time"
– "Wars of the Future. Gamification of War"
Other speakers include Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, TV propagandist Ekaterina Andreeva, and pro-Putin figures from the U.S. and UK.
Errol Musk’s praise for Putin, dismissal of Ukraine, and spread of Russian biolab fakes
Here’s what he’s said publicly:
"If you view him simply as a man, not in the context of international politics, it's hard not to have respect for Mr. Putin." (BBC Russian)
"Only in time will it be possible to understand who really started [the war – ed.]." (BBC Russian)
Ukraine is “patched together” country. (Podcast Legitimate Targets)
In the same podcast, Legitimate Targets, Musk Sr. spoke out against certain regions being within Ukraine, where Russian-speakers should supposedly be protected, argued against Ukraine’s NATO membership (which he claims triggered the war), opposed Western military aid to Kyiv, and promoted debunked Russian claims about “27 biolaboratories” supposedly located on Ukrainian territory, “right on the border” with Russia.
