This is reported on the Ericsson website.
The company announced the divestment of its local customer support business in Russia.
"The agreement provides for the transfer of approximately 40 Ericsson employees, as well as certain assets and contracts related to this business. The customer service business does not involve the transfer of equipment, software or related services to mobile operators in Russia," the statement said.
Following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, Ericsson has reportedly announced a suspension of operations, supply to customers and a planned shutdown in compliance with sanctions. Approximately 400 employees in Russia were laid off.
