Erdogan made these comments on his X (Twitter) page.
According to Erdogan, Israel's bombings in Gaza are causing harm to women, children, and innocent civilians, intensifying the humanitarian crisis.
"The Israeli government needs to end these attacks immediately," stated the Turkish president.
He also invited "all our friends to join the Great Palestinian Rally" at Istanbul's Atatürk Airport. There, they plan to call on Israel to halt hostilities and declare their support for the Palestinian people against Israeli oppression.
Later, at a large rally held at Istanbul's Atatürk Airport, Recep Erdogan held the West accountable for the situation in Gaza. This information was reported by Anadolu.
Erdogan pointed out that Turkey not only condemns the tragedy in Gaza but also emphasizes its commitment to its own independence and future.
"When I asserted that Hamas isn't a terrorist organization, we were aware it would raise concerns in Israel. We said it openly and without reservation. The West owes you (ed. Israel), but Turkey doesn't owe you anything. That's why we express ourselves so candidly," commented the Turkish president.
In particular, Erdogan believes that "the Western world is using its politicians and mass media to justify the extensive loss of life, including children, women, and innocent civilians in Gaza. Israel's actions are clearly a violation of international law."
"It's the responsibility of the entire Western world for the carnage in Gaza. The West bears the greatest responsibility for these casualties. How many more children, women, and elderly people must suffer before you call for a ceasefire?" Erdogan questioned, addressing Western representatives.
Foreign Minister Eli Cohen has called for a review of their diplomatic ties with Turkey due to their strong criticism of Israel's recent military action in Gaza.

Cohen has instructed Israeli diplomats in Turkey to return home.
Last week, Israel recalled its diplomats from Turkey and urged Israeli citizens to leave the country due to security concerns.
On October 25, Turkish President Recep Erdogan stated that he does not classify Hamas as a terrorist organization.
Two days later, Erdogan encouraged Turks to join a Palestine solidarity rally on the following day.
