Russian strike hits energy infrastructure in Kyiv
Three shellings were recorded on the left bank of Dnipro river, and in Brovary, an eastern suburb of Ukraine’s capital the anti-aircraft system was activated.
This was announced by the deputy head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
“Preliminary 3 flights at the energy supply facility on the city’s left bank”, he wrote.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that the missiles hit a critical infrastructure in the Desnyanskiy district.
“Again explosions in the morning in Kyiv. Desnyanskiy district. Critical infrastructure object. All services are there. More details later”, Klitschko wrote on Telegram.
Igor Sapozhko, Mayor of Brovary (an eastern suburb of Ukraine’s capital - ed.) informed that the air defense worked in the area.
“Explosions are heard in Brovary. Air defense is working”, he said.

On October 18, energy infrastructure facilities were also hit in Zhytomyr and Dnipro.

Explosions that day were also heard in Kryviy Rih and Kharkiv.

Mykolaiv was shelled either, a man was killed as a result.
