"The enemy's positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, which the Russians considered fortified, were brought under fire control and destroyed by our artillery. The Russian forces tried to dig into the beach, but were neutralized," Volokhov said.

According to him, enemy deployment points where the occupiers tried to base themselves were also discovered and destroyed.

"We need to wait for information from official sources of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the Ukrainian flags on the left bank of the Dnipro River," added Volokhov.

Earlier it became known that Ukrainian defenders hit the area of deployment of enemy troops in the Yakymiv district of Zaporizhzhya region. 10 Russian soldiers were eliminated.

On December 4, Ukrainian aviation carried out 18 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment.
