Ukrainian military repelled 53 Russian attacks on 7 fronts, eliminating 840 Russian soldiers and destroying 61 artillery systems in the past day

General Staff report: Ukrainian Armed Forces beat back 53 attacks in 7 directions

Near the state Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repulsed Russian attack near Synkivka, Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops defeated 4 Russian troops' attacks near Yampolivka and Torske in Donetsk region and 2 more attacks near Bilohorivka and Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces countered three Russian military attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the invading Russian forces, who keep trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Thus, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 Russian attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka and 11 more attacks near Pervomayske and Nevelske in Donetsk region over the last day.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the Russian troops near Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops rebuffed 16 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the occupying Russian army did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fought off 4 Russian troops' attacks south of Chervone, west of Verbove and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to expand their foothold. Despite significant losses, the Russian forces continue trying to drive Ukrainian units from their positions. Over the past day, the Russian troops conducted 7 unsuccessful assaults on Ukrainian forces' positions.

Russia launches 48 missiles and 112 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the past day, 56 combat engagements took place.

In total, the Russian military launched 48 missiles, 112 air strikes, and fired 73 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. More than 200 different civilian infrastructure facilities in Kyiv and Kyiv region, Kharkiv and Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk region were destroyed or damaged.

Over the past day, Russian troops conducted another air strike, using 6 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed one Russian drone.

3 settlements in Kharkiv region; Makiivka, Bilohorivka, Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region; 8 settlements in Donetsk region; Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region; 3 settlements in Kherson region were hit by air strikes.

More than 150 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 9 Russian artillery pieces and an electronic warfare station

Over the last day, Ukrainian aviation struck 10 Russian concentration areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 2 anti-aircraft missile systems and 1 control center. Ukrainian air defense forces also destroyed 15 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles, 5 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, and 2 Kh-59 guided missiles.

Missile troops struck at 1 Russian concentration area of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 2 air defense facilities, 9 artillery pieces and 1 electronic warfare station.
