According to Ukraine's General Staff, the operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.
In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 6 Russian attacks near Synkivka, Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops defeated 13 Russian forces' attacks near Terniv and Yampolivka in Donetsk region and another 5 attacks near Makiivka and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops beat back 8 Russian attacks near Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to deter the invading Russian troops, who are trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Thus, the Defense Forces repelled 13 Russian attacks in the areas of Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka and another 14 attacks near Sievierne, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk region over the past day.
In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back the Russian forces in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukraine's Armed Forces countered 10 attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repulsed Russian troops' attack north of Novodonetske in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian army did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.
In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to expand the foothold. Despite significant losses, the Russian troops continue trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions. Over the past day, the Russian forces made 6 unsuccessful assaults on Ukrainian troops' positions.
Over the last day, 78 combat engagements took place. In total, the Russian army launched 9 missiles, 128 air strikes, fired 77 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.
At night, the Russian troops conducted another air strike using 33 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Ukrainian air defense forces and equipment destroyed 22 Russian drones.
4 settlements in Kharkiv region; Serebryanske forestry, Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; 8 settlements in Donetsk region;2 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region; 3 settlements in Kherson region were hit by air strikes.
More than 130 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 7 Russian troops' concentration areas, 1 command center and 5 air defense systems. Ukrainian air defense forces also destroyed one Kh-59 guided missile.
Ukrainian missile troops destroyed 2 Russian control points, 1 personnel concentration area, 3 radar stations, 2 air defense facilities, 2 artillery facilities and 2 ammunition depots.
