Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminate 37 Russian artillery systems, 6 tanks and 1,320 soldiers per day

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to April 29 2024, amounted to:

• warships/boats ‒ 26 (+0)
• submarines – 1 (+0)

Russia's strikes on Ukraine

Over the past day, the Russian forces launched 1 missile strike, 82 air strikes, fired 108 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

1 settlement in Kharkiv region; Serebryanske Forestry, 1 settlement in Luhansk region; 14 settlements in Donetsk region; 1 settlement in Zaporizhzhia region; Krynky, Kostyrka, Beryslav,7 settlements in Kherson region were hit by airstrikes.

More than 120 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Situation on the main frontlines

The operational situation in the northern Ukrainian border remains without significant changes.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts subversive activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian troops countered 6 attacks near Berestove, Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian military conducted 18 attacks near Kopanky and Novoserhiivka in Kharkiv region; Makiivka, Nevske and Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region; and Terny in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops rebuffed 29 attacks near Verkhnekamianske, Vyymka, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Novyi, Andriivka in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders fought off 55 attacks in the areas of Novokalynove, Keramik, Arkhangelske, Umanske, Sokil, Ocheretino, Kalynove, Solovyovo, Novopokrovske, Novoselivka Persha and west of Semenivka in Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back the Russian troops near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Vodiane, Novomykhailivka and Urozhaine in Donetsk region. The Russian troops, supported by air power, tried to break through the Ukrainian defences 15 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian military attacked Ukrainian defenders' positions in the Staromayorsk area of Donetsk region four times.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian forces keep trying to drive Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River, attacking Ukrainian positions 5 times near Krynky, Kherson region.

At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are actively inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying Russian forces, depleting the enemy along the entire frontline.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 13 areas where Russian troops were concentrated.

Missile troops destroyed 1 area of concentration of personnel and 1 control point.
