Russian pilots feel they are in the sights — Ukraine's Air Force Spokesman Ihnat
Russian troops do not cease air attacks, so they will be more frequently in the range of Ukrainian air defense
Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this on a telethon.
"As you can see, the Russians are not stopping their storming. And as the commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said, they are not stopping their aviation attacks either. So they cannot pretend they are not expected here. They will increasingly fall into the zone of our air defense, as we already have means today that can reach them," he said, noting that these means are few that can strike at long distances, but they exist in all directions.
According to him, the Russians have anti-missile maneuvers and various ways to avoid being hit by aircraft.
"But as you can see, they often fail in doing so. Therefore, Russian pilots already feel that they are in the sights. And that's very good. We just need to wait for even more supplies from our partners of those systems that can destroy them, as well as F-16 aircraft," emphasized Ihnat.
