Russian army loses around 400 people per day in Pokrovsk sector - Syrskyi

“The losses of the occupying Russian forces in the Pokrovsk sector are consistently high, especially in manpower. Thus, in December, the enemy on average loses about 400 people killed and wounded per day,” Syrskyi said.
He also noted that the Pokrovsk direction has remained one of the most difficult in the context of the confrontation with the Russian troops for several months. According to him, the Ukrainian army is considering and preparing for all possible options for further enemy actions.
- On December 11, the invading Russian army lost at least 1,390 troops in the war in Ukraine. The Defense Forces also destroyed a number of Russian vehicles.
- Russian forces keep making tactical gains south of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, targeting weak points and attempting to maneuver for a direct assault on the city.
