Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to July 18, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 563,640 (+1,130),
- tanks - 8,245 (+7),
- armored fighting vehicles - 15,883 (+12),
- artillery systems - 15,465 (+54),
- MLRS - 1,120 (+0),
- air defense systems - 893 (+0),
- aircraft - 361 (+0),
- helicopters - 326 (+0) ,
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 12,274 (+50),
- cruise missiles - 2,398 (+0),
- ships/boats - 28 (+0),
- submarines - 1 (+0),
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 20,833 (+92),
- special equipment - 2,593 (+7).
In the early hours of Thursday, July 18, the occupying Russian army launched Shaheds at Ukrainian territory. Air defense systems were active in Kyiv.
