Russian army intensifies activity in Novopavlivka direction - Ukraine's General Staff report

Ukraine's General Staff reported the information.

Since the beginning of the day, 64 combat clashes have already taken place.

Russian troops conducted two missile attacks using four missiles and five airstrikes involving nine combat aircraft. They also fired over 400 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Additionally, Russian forces launched 21 kamikaze drone attacks against Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops launched UAVs from the direction of Belgorod, Russia, near Lyptsi, Zelenyi and Neskuchne.

In the Kupyansk direction, the total number of Russian attacks amounted to eight, two of which are still ongoing near Synkivka.

In the Lyman direction, fighting is taking place near Serebryanka Forestry and Nevske village. So far, Russian forces have tried to advance in this area four times since the beginning of the day.

Fighting continues near Verkhnyokamianske in the Siversk direction. This is Russia's eighth attempt to attack in the direction; the previous ones were repelled.

Russia is also active in the Kramatorsk direction, namely near Kalynivka and Chasiv Yar. In total, Russian troops have attempted to advance in this area eight times, three of which are still ongoing.

Currently, the heaviest Russian attacks are concentrated in the Pokrovsk direction. Ukrainian forces are actively defending against Russian assaults in Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Sokil, and Novopokrovske. Overall, there have been 25 enemy attempts to advance their positions in this sector.

Russian troops are not conducting any active assault operations in the Kurakhove direction. Ukrainian defenders fought off attacks bear Kostiantynivka and Paraskoviivka.

Russian forces have become more active in the Novopavlivka direction. Fighting continues near Vodiane and Urozhaine. Ukrainian troops rebuffed one attack near Urozhaine. No losses of positions and territories have been incurred.

Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 12 Russian personnel concentrations

Over the past day, Ukraine's Air Force, missile forces and artillery hit 12 Russian troop and weapons concentrations, three artillery systems and four air defense systems.

Overall, Russia's losses amounted to 1,060 soldiers over the past day. The Russian army also lost 14 tanks, 35 armored combat vehicles, 54 artillery systems, one MLRS, two air defense systems, 47 vehicles and 10 units of special equipment.

In total, over the past day, Russia launched one missile strike and 45 air strikes against Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas, and fired over 3,000 times, including 99 MLRS attacks.

Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Multi-storey and private buildings, as well as other infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.
