Over the past day, 65 clashes took place between the two armies. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian attacks in 6 directions eliminating 670 soldiers

Russia's total combat losses from 02/24/22 to 04/04/24 are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 445,040 (+670) people 
  • tanks - 7,018 (+9) 
  • armored combat vehicles - 13,386 (+18) 
  • artillery systems - 11,171 (+29)
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 8,817 (+21),
  • cruise missiles - 2,059 (+0),

  • air defense systems - 746 (+1)

General Staff report: 65 clashes took place on the frontline over the last day, Ukrainian Armed Forces fought off attacks in 6 directions

The situation on the northern Ukrainian border has not changed significantly. 

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army is conducting subversive activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas and is also mining the territory along the state border.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repulsed one Russian attack near Andriivka, Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces rebuffed 5 Russian troops' attacks near Terny, Donetsk region. The Russian military tried to break through the defense of our troops.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian forces beat back 14 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Spirne, Andriivka, southeast of Vyimka and Klishchiivka, Donetsk region. The Russian troops tried to improve their tactical position.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Umanske, Yasnobrodivka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk region. The Russian forces tried to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back the Russian troops near Novomykhailivka, Urozhaine, southeast of Vodiane. The Russian forces, supported by aviation, tried to break through Ukrainian troops' defenses 22 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the invading Russian army did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions over the past day.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian militants do not abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, they made 7 unsuccessful attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions.

Russian army launches 6 missile strikes and 85 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the last day, 65 clashes took place.

In total, the Russian forces launched 6 missile strikes, 85 air strikes, fired 88 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

At night, Russian invaders once again attacked Ukraine using 20 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 11 attack UAVs.

Russia launched airstrikes on 1 settlement in Sumy region; 9 settlements in Kharkiv region; 1 settlement in Luhansk region; 19 settlements in Donetsk region; 3 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region.

About 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

Ukrainian defense forces destroyed Russian radar and electronic warfare station

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 14 Russian troops' concentration areas, weapons and military equipment, as well as the anti-aircraft missile system.

Missile troops struck 4 Russian units' areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, an artillery system, a radar station, an electronic warfare station, a UAV control center and another important object.
