Over the past 24 hours of its war on Ukraine, the Russian army has lost at least 1,270 soldiers. In addition, Ukrainian defenders eliminated dozens of pieces of Russian military equipment

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to June 9, 2024, amounted to:

personnel - about 518,560 (+1270) people,
tanks - 7,869 (+26)
armored combat vehicles - 15,131 (+26)
artillery systems - 13,593 (+60)
MLRS - 1097 (+2)
air defense systems - 836 (+2)
aircraft - 357 (+0)
helicopters - 326 (+0)
UAVs of the operational and tactical level - 10,982 (+37)
cruise missiles - 2,277 (+0)
ships/boats - 28 (+0)
submarines - 1 (+0)
motor vehicles and tankers - 18,562 (+78)
special equipment - 2253 (+5)

Over June 8, 76 combat engagements took place on the frontline, with Ukrainian troops repelling 27 Russian attacks in the Pokrovsk sector.
