The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from 24.02.22 to 14.02.24 are approximately:

General Staff report: Ukrainian Defense Forces repel Russian attacks in 6 directions, most of them in Marinka

The operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the invading Russian army did not conduct any offensive actions.

In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fought off two Russian troops' attacks near Yampolivka in Donetsk and Bilohorivka in Luhansk regions.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces rebuffed 10 Russian attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders are holding back the Russian troops who are trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. The Ukrainian Defense Forces beat back 20 Russian forces' attacks near Avdiivka and another 4 attacks near Nevelske in Donetsk region over the last day.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian forces are holding back the Russian troops near Heorhiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Russian forces, supported by air power, tried to advance the tactical situation 27 times.

No offensives were registered in the Novopavlivka area.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled three Russian attacks east of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding their positions and repelling the attacks of the Russian occupation forces. Despite significant losses, the Russian troops keep trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions. Over the past day, the invading Russian army conducted 5 unsuccessful assault operations.

Russian army launches 3 missile strikes and 159 air strikes in Ukraine

Over the past day, 71 engagements took place. In total, the occupying Russian army launched 3 missile strikes and 159 air strikes, fired 162 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

Kruhle in Kharkiv region, 2 settlements in Luhansk region, 7 settlements in Donetsk region; 4 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region; Krynky in Kherson region were hit by air strikes.

More than 100 settlements in Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Ukrainian forces destroyed 7 artillery units, 3 enemy air defense systems and a large amphibious assault ship

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 11 Russian personnel concentration areas, 1 control center, and 3 anti-aircraft missile systems.

Ukrainian missile troops struck at 4 Russian troops' concentration areas, 7 artillery sites, 3 air defense sites, 3 command posts, 2 ammunition depots and 1 electronic warfare site.

 
  • Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi said that a new stage in the war has begun, and Ukraine has moved from offensive to defensive operations.
