Either they must tune in to the war to the end, or there must be an agreement on favorable terms for Ukraine - Kuleba
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called the conclusion of a peace agreement on favorable terms for Kyiv a realistic option for ending Russia's war against Ukraine
Kuleba stated this in an interview with Ukrainian Truth.
According to the minister, every war has two endings.
"The first final is an unconditional total defeat of one of the parties. This is what the Russians wanted to impose on us from the very beginning by putting forward such a document. The second final is an agreement. An agreement is a search and fixation of mutually acceptable solutions", Kuleba said.
He added that he considers a realistic option with the signing of a peace agreement on favorable terms for Ukraine.
"Therefore, from the point of view of Ukraine, not from the point of view of Russia, we must clearly and soberly understand that either we must tune in to the war to the end, as a result of which we will totally, unconditionally and unconditionally defeat Russia, or there must be an agreement that must be favorable conditions for Ukraine. I think that the second option is still realistic", Kuleba emphasized.
He also emphasized that we must understand as a society and as a state that in order to end the war, we need an agreement.
"And Ukrainian diplomacy is working to ensure that this agreement is as beneficial as possible for Ukraine. The President has not given any instructions to hand over national interests to anyone. The task set by the President is very clear: the most stringent and clear guarantees of Ukraine's security", Kuleba assured.
