During the air alert in Kyiv region, a reconnaissance UAV of the Russians was shot down 

Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat reported that on February 23, a Russian reconnaissance drone attacked the Kyiv region: it was intercepted.

"The drone was shot down successfully; we will see what kind of UAV it is, what type it is," Yuriy Ihnat said.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration was informed about the Russian UAV attack.

"Residents of the Kyiv region! Air defense is operating in the region. Take shelter until the end of the alarm. Take care of yourself and your loved ones!" the message said. 

Earlier, the air raid alert was announced.
