Drone attack on Russia’s Kursk and Belgorod regions
Russia reported a drone attack in the Black Sea, Belgorod, and Kursk regions on the morning of October 18. They claimed that the air defense had shot down these drones
Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, shared this information.
He said, 'In the Belgorod district and the Yakovlev city district, our air defense system successfully intercepted and destroyed 6 anti-aircraft missiles.'
Authorities are currently assessing the situation for any potential damage. Thankfully, preliminary reports suggest no casualties or harm.
The Ministry of Defense also mentioned that Russia intercepted drones over Kursk Oblast and the Black Sea waters, totaling 28 drones neutralized in all.
The enemy's statement indicated that a “terror attempt by the Kyiv regime, using aircraft-type drones on the Russian territory, was thwarted at night.”
