DPRK calls accusations of supplying arms to Russia "the most absurd distraction"

The North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs denies media reports that Pyongyang supplies weapons to Russia

This is reported by Reuters.

This is how the DPRK Ministry reacted to Japanese media reports that in November North Korea sent ammunition, including artillery shells, to Russia by train. The US also confirmed that Pyongyang had completed the first shipment of weapons to the Wagner PMC.

"The Japanese media's false report that the DPRK offered munitions to Russia is the most absurd red herring, which is not worth any comment or interpretation," a ministry spokesperson said in a statement carried by the KCNA, the North Korean official news agency.

According to the White House, the Wagner PMC received infantry missiles and rockets from North Korea, although the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, denied it, calling the statement "gossip and speculation," the outlet said.

Also, the North Korean official assured that "the DPRK remains unchanged in its principled stand on the issue of 'arms transaction' between the DPRK and Russia which has never happened."
