The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports.
"During a complex operation in a frontline hospital, doctors removed a mine shank from the body of a wounded soldier. At the same time, they managed to save the Ukrainian soldier's leg!" the General Staff said.
It is noted that the fragment damaged the main vessels of the limb.
The soldier's condition is currently stable. The Medical Forces specialists are preparing him for further evacuation.
