'They divided Russian legacy': Piontkovsky on Biden's meeting with Xi

Washington-based political scientist Andrey Piontkovsky believes that one of the topics at the meeting between Biden and Xi Jinping was Russia's legacy after the war defeat and the fate of Russia's nuclear weapons

He expressed this opinion on the Espreso TV channel

"I think that one of the issues that was discussed in San Francisco for four hours was the Russian legacy: how they would share the Russian inheritance. In my opinion, this complete self-destruction of Xi is a positive result for Biden, for the United States," Piontkovsky said.

The political analyst noted that the US is very concerned about the fate of Russian nuclear weapons.

"The United States is not too inspired by the prospect of the complete transformation of all of Russia into a complete raw material appendage of China, and it is also interested in the fate of Russian nuclear weapons. I think this was one of the long-term issues discussed at the meeting," he concluded.
