Disguised Russian soldiers outnumber civilian population in Melitopol - mayor
Ivan Fedorov, mayor of Melitopol, says that there are currently more disguised Russian soldiers and agents in the city than civilians

He said this at a briefing for Media Center Ukraine.
The mayor explained that in this way the occupying Russian forces are trying to identify the Melitopol resistance.
“According to local residents who remained in the occupation, today disguised Russian soldiers and agents outnumber the civilian population in the temporarily occupied city. A huge number of Russians and agents are in disguise: they pretend to be civilians, but in fact they also do work to identify the resistance in Melitopol,” he said.
Fedorov also noted that the Russians behave restlessly, and there are frequent gunfights in the city.
“Quite often, the Russian police come to showdowns between their own military. This is a standard practice today,” the mayor said.
