For some reason, the military style of clothing and the textbook "You Owe Us", which is unusual in the relevant circles, stops working. It's strange! Why is this?
It is impossible to play "diplomacy" using the "all at once" methodology. This is a long game. A systematic game. Where every step, word, action (or inaction) has a price. On that front, there are no less fierce battles than on the military front. And when I see, hear, and realize that we are being scored on here and there, it hurts.
Those who sit in the Presidential Office must realize one simple thing. If this continues, "emotions and political grievances take precedence over common sense," Ukraine will be the first to suffer. And will continue to suffer.
Everyone who holds high office in one way or another has a couple of trumps in their pocket in case a fatal mistake is made. What should millions of Ukrainians do? A question without an answer…
Does Ukraine have additional potential to significantly strengthen our diplomatic capabilities? Yes! Of course, we do. Starting with the former presidents of the country and ending with former foreign ministers and ambassadors of Ukraine to countries that are our allies. To deliberately not use this diplomatic potential is an actual crime! Because great diplomacy (especially in a war against a super-powerful enemy) is chess. It is not enough to know how to move the pieces. And a simple strategy of promises can then lead to terrible consequences."
P.S. Did I understand correctly that, for example, after Vadym Prystaiko was dismissed for some reason, there is still no Ukrainian ambassador in London?
