British defense analyst Professor Michael Clarke shared this information.

"The Ukrainians targeted an ammunition depot at Nova Kakhovka which is at the end of a rail junction on one of the bridges over Dnipro river," he said.

Clarke went on to say the explosion in the Russian-held town of Nova Kakhovka was "the biggest that we've seen so far".

"It was huge and that particular explosion the Ukrainians say was created by their high mobility artillery rocket system (HIMARS), which is their system," the analyst added.

The defence analyst said HIMARS are "quite light" and are wheeled vehicles, meaning they have to stay on the roads.

"That means it's quick, it's fast. The cassette carries six missiles and that cassette can be switched on in three minutes. It's a three man team on the vehicles. These vehicles can shoot and scoot. They can fire off the six rockets, each one is very accurate, and then they can get away and the Russians just can't find them," Michael Clarke noted.
