Russian fakes for November 23: deportation of Ukrainian men from Europe

The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of fake news that the Russian Federation produced on November 23

This was reported by Espreso.TV.

According to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on November 23, the Russians launched three major deceptions.

Disinformation: The pro-Russian TG channel Resident wrote: "Our sources in the General Staff informed us that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering heavy losses in Avdiivka due to Russia's massive use of cluster bombs and shells. At the same time, Ukraine's artillery saves shells and does not actually cover the city's defenders."

Disinformation: Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson M. Zakharova said: "Russian journalists have been "under the sight" of the Kyiv regime for many years. It is by such means that Ukraine is trying to hide the truth about the events in the country".

Disinformation: The Russian TG channel Militarist, citing an article in the Austrian edition of eXXpress, wrote: "Preparations are underway for the deportation of Ukrainian men from Europe to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The mobilization reserve is substantial, which makes it possible to compensate for the losses of 2023. According to Eurostat, 650,000 men of military age have left Ukraine for the EU since the beginning of the special military operation."
