Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen says that the country would be able to deliver the first F-16s to Ukraine in March-April 2024
This is reported by BAHA.
"We expect that in March or April, we will be able to transfer the first batch of combat aircraft to Ukraine. But there is a lot of work to be done to ensure that the Ukrainians can exploit them," Lund said.
The minister emphasized that Ukraine should not only receive fighter jets, but also be able to maintain them.
"My clear goal is that in the first quarter of 2024 we can send the first combat aircraft to Ukraine. But this depends on the training of the pilots, and not least the support staff who will have to maintain the aircraft," added Troels Lund Poulsen.
