Degree of confrontation increases in Zaporizhzhia region, Russia is entrenched in double ring of defense - Denisov, Legion of Freedom fighter

"The situation is difficult and tense, the enemy is constantly shelling the Zaporizhzhia region. Ukrainian forces are also firing at ammunition depots and enemy equipment accumulations. About 10 communities of the region suffer under constant fire from enemy artillery, aircraft, mortars, that is, the Russian army is using everything possible. Today, 60 out of 67 communities in Zaporizhia are in a war zone, surrounded or occupied, this has never happened in all the months of the hot phase of the war," the Legion of freedom fighter informed.

Kostiantyn Denysov noted that the situation has become very tense and the degree of confrontation has significantly increased.

"The enemy is very much entrenched, we have information from some communities that the invaders have created a double ring of defense, as well as fortifications and engineering structures. The enemy copies the experience of 2014 and places its rocket launchers, ammunition depots on the territory of schools and civilian neighborhoods, and we also have reports about this from several communities," Denysov added.

On August 30, during the day, Russian invaders destroyed 25 civilian objects in 16 settlements,  Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration reported. 

On August 31, according to Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Russian troops destroyed 17 civilian objects in 14 localities
