Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said this on the air of the Kyiv TV channel.
"Even yesterday, the electricity deficit was 50%, that is, half of Kyiv was temporarily without electricity. Now the situation has improved: the deficit is not 50%, but already 30-35%," he said.
At the same time, according to the mayor, Kyiv is in a joint energy system with other regions of Ukraine, so the situation remains uncertain and it is too early to talk about planned shutdowns.
"For now, unfortunately, we cannot talk about planned outages. We are working to stabilize electricity supply throughout the country. So far, the outages are unplanned," Klitschko emphasized.
