Ukraine's defense forces eliminate 8 tanks, 20 artillery systems and 920 Russian soldiers in one day - General Staff

Situation at the front: Russian army unsuccessfully attacks in 7 directions, Ukrainian troops continue assault near Bakhmut

According to the General Staff, in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed. 

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, conducting active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, the Russian troops assaulted in the areas of 3 settlements in Kharkiv region, where Ukraine's soldiers repelled 7 attacks.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian invaders unsuccessfully attacked in the vicinity of 2 localities in Luhansk region and 1 more in Donetsk region, where six attacks were repulsed.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russia carried out assault operations near 3 settlements in the Donetsk region, 15 attacks were successfully repelled there. Ukrainian defense forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian enemy, and consolidating their positions.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group in the Avdiivka direction, the Russian army, with the support of aviation, continues its attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Russia's offensive actions near 4 localities in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 18 attacks there.

In the Marinka direction, the Russin troops together with aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where Ukraine's defenders repelled 24 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russia launched an assault south of Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region, but failed.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four invaders' attacks near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces keep conducting offensive operations in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and depleting the Russian enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, Ukrainian military are conducting counter-battery combat and inflicting fire on Russia's rear.

Russian invaders shelled Ukraine with ballistic missiles at night

Yesterday, Russian terrorist troops attacked the city of Kherson with multiple launch rocket systems, and at night they used a ballistic missile.

In total, Russia launched 4 missile and 53 air strikes, fired 45 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private and multi-storey residential buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure, were destroyed and damaged.

Air strikes were carried out in 3 settlements of Kharkiv region; 1 in Luhansk region; 11 in Donetsk region; 3 in Kherson region.

Over 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Missile forces hit 6 enemy concentration areas

Over the last day, the aviation of the Defense Forces conducted 8 strikes on areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration and 1 strike on Russia's anti-aircraft missile system.

Missile units hit 6 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, 2 control points, 6 artillery units, an air defense facility and another important Russian target.

• In the evening of November 13, the Russian army launched several groups of Shahed drones: hostile drones moved to the north and west of Ukraine. Air defense systems were operating in the Khmelnytskyi region.
