Defense forces successfully advance near Klishchiivka in Donetsk region

Ukraine's General Staff reported this on September 13.

In the area of responsibility of the North operational-strategic group, in the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces continue to maintain a group of troops protecting the state border, to conduct active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the redeployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and to increase the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group on the Kupyansk, Lyman and Bakhmut directions, the Russian forces continue their attempts to break through the Ukrainian defense near Orikhovo-Vasylivka. In their turn, the Defense Forces had a partial success in the area of Klishchiivka, Donetsk region, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian enemy.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group, Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding the line near Avdiivka and Marinka, where the Russian troops made over 20 unsuccessful attempts to force Ukraine's units out of their positions over the past day. In addition, all of Russia's attacks near Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region, and south of Novodarivka, Zaporizhzhia region, resulted in significant losses in both manpower and equipment for the occupiers.

At the same time, in the Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions, the Defense Forces continue to hold the initiative, put pressure on the enemy, carry out assault operations and recapture Ukrainian territory.

In the Melitopol direction, the Defense Forces continue their offensive, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, forcing them to withdraw from their positions. As a result of assault operations, Ukrainian soldiers have partial success in the area of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue counter-battery combat, destroying logistics, deployment sites and firing positions of Russian units.

Russian army launches 7 missile and 35 air strikes on the Ukrainian territory

Over the last day, September 12, 34 combat clashes took place in the frontline.

Russia launched 7 missile strikes and 35 air strikes, fired more than 56 times from multiple launch rocket systems at both the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian objects in Ukraine.

In addition, since the beginning of the day, the Russian occupiers have launched a massive air strike using attack UAVs against the civilian infrastructure of Odesa and Sumy regions.

4 settlements in Sumy region, 1 in Kharkiv region, 2 in Luhansk region, 3 in Donetsk region, 1 in Zaporizhzhia region, and 1 in Kherson region were hit by air strikes.

Over 45 settlements in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

Ukrainian troops destroyed 10 artillery units and two Russian air defense systems

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 9 strikes on the areas of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration.

Missile and artillery units and unmanned aerial systems destroyed 10 artillery units, 2 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1 personnel concentration area, 1 electronic warfare station, 1 control center and 5 Russia's ammunition depots.

• On the night of September 12-13, Russian terrorists launched attack UAVs to strike Ukraine. Seven civilians were reported injured in Odesa region.
