Crimean Tatar prisoner Dzhemil Gafarov has died in the Russian detention center in Novocherkassk

This was reported by the Chairman of the Mejlis, Refat Chubarov.
“We have just received sad news - 60-year-old political prisoner, prisoner of the Kremlin Dzhemil Gafarov, previously sentenced by Russian courts to 13 years in prison, died in the detention center in Novocherkassk (Russia),” he wrote. The Chairman of the Mejlis also expressed condolences to the relatives of the political prisoner.
