Credit Suisse freezes Russian assets worth over 19 billion USD
Swiss bank Credit Suisse has frozen Russian assets worth more than $19 billion, which is a third of all Russian assets in the country

It is noted that Russian assets worth $8.1 billion have been officially frozen in Switzerland due to the war in Ukraine, but Credit Suisse has frozen assets worth another $19 billion.
More than $4 billion belong to persons who are sanctioned in Switzerland, and the rest belongs to the Russian Central Bank and the Russians who have been sanctioned in other countries.

Switzerland plans to cancel the ban on supplying Swiss-made weapons to Ukraine, although this would break centuries-old neutrality tradition.
