Counteroffensive isn't going as fast as we would like, but Ukraine has clear advantage - General Syrskyi
Commander Oleksandr Syrskyi believes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have an advantage over the Russian army, which is manifested in the unity of the military leadership and soldiers
The colonel general said this in an interview with the BBC.
He acknowledged that the long-awaited offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is slower than expected.
"We would like to get quick results. But it is practically impossible," the general said and explained that the occupying troops had dug in, erected defenses and mined the territory. This complicates the advance of the Armed Forces.
But according to Syrskyi, Ukraine has one obvious advantage.
"The unity of the military leadership and the trust among the soldiers is a strong point of our army," he said.

Earlier, Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi responded to all those who criticize Ukraine's slow counteroffensive. "This is not a show that the whole world is watching and placing bets on or anything like that. Every day, every meter is given in blood," he said.
