Constant terror against the civilian population is an obvious refusal of Russia from real negotiations, - Zelenskyi

Ukrainian president notes that Russia should be punished for terror, because this is a guarantee that the confrontation will not grow to an even greater scale

Zelenskyi stated this in his evening address.

"Continuous terror against the civilian population is an obvious refusal of Russia from real negotiations. Terror is a crime that must be punished. Terror at the state level is one of the most terrible international crimes, which threatens not only someone in the world, but also the entire international  community" - he emphasized.

In addition, Zelenskyi emphasized the increase in the number of victims of Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities.

"This night's strikes continued a series of Russian missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia, which this week alone, since October 3, have already claimed the lives of at least 43 people. And there were also strikes on Kharkiv, on the cities of Donbass, on other cities of Ukraine. There were more strikes by Iranian drones, airstrikes" - he added.
