Consequences of repeated Russian shelling of Odesa: 7 missiles launched, fire in mall and warehouse, 1 person killed, 5 injured
Russians launched a missile strike on Odesa using combat aircraft on May 9 at around 22:35.
Dumska publication with reference to the Operational Command 'South' shared details on Russian attacks.
One of the missiles hit a large mall. There was a fire.
Six people were injured in the mall shelling.
Odesa Regional Military Administration Head Sergiy Bratchuk also confirmed the mall shelling. As a result of the evening missile strike on Odesa, a fire broke out in one of the malls.
OC 'South' later reported that seven missiles were launched on the city using combat aircraft:
"Seven missiles were fired on the city. However, the Russian missile reserves are apparently depleted, as Soviet-style rarities have been launched. Searching for strategic objects, obsolete missiles managed to hit the 'extremely dangerous' shopping center and the warehouse with consumer goods. Therefore, Russia continues to exert psychological pressure and such hysterical attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure," the statement said.
Unfortunately, one person died and five injured were taken to hospital and treated. Firefighting continues.
