Computer accessories leader Logitech, container transportation giant Maersk exit Russian market
Both companies have already announced the curtailment and limitation of work in Russia, but now they have made the final decision to withdraw from the Russian market.
This is reported by the BBC.
On Monday, it became known about the departure of Logitech, a Swiss manufacturer of keyboards, mice and other computer accessories, from Russia. The representative of the company's press service, Ben Starkey, according to RIA Novosti, said that Logitech "one day" is going to return to Russia "if there are suitable conditions".
Another departure on Monday is the Danish container operator AP Møller-Mærsk (more often the company is known simply as Maersk). It is one of the world's largest container operators.
The company has reached an agreement to sell its stake in the Russian port operator Global Ports Investments and will no longer work with Russian legal entities.
If the disappearance of one of the manufacturers leads to the loss of specific products and brands, then the departure of a large transport company like Maersk can destroy or make supply chains of various goods in Russia much more expensive.
