Russia's latest fakes: half of Ukrainians abroad, Western laboratories in LPR
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a compilation of Russian-produced disinformation on August 31

According to the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on August 31, Russia launched three major deceptions.
Manipulation: Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that "Kyiv’s statement regarding Russia's responsibility for the famine in Africa is baseless and false."
Fake: Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov published a news item on his Telegram channel claiming that "a laboratory of the Western company Pharmbiotest was discovered on the liberated territory of the LPR.” The found documents allegedly confirm the fact of experiments on Ukrainian soldiers.
Disinformation: Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that "The population in the territory controlled by Kyiv is 19.7 million people, while outside the country it is 17.9 million.”
