Espreso TV reported the information.
Mahuchikh set the world record after she defeated Australian Nicola Olyslagers, the only one to take the 2.03 m bar.
After clearing 2.03 meters, Mahuchikh set two consecutive records. First, she cleared 2.07 m (on her second attempt), updating her personal high jump record, and then she cleared 2.10 m on her first attempt, setting a world record.
For reference: The world record in women's high jump had been held for 37 years. The previous record was set in 1987 by Bulgarian Stefka Kostadinova, who cleared 2.09 m. Maguchikh is the first to clear 2.10 m.
