This announcement was made by Taras Melnychuk, Ukraine's Permanent Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada.
Melnychuk wrote, "The provisions of the agreement establish a visa-free regime for mutual travel between citizens of Ukraine and the Republic of Mauritius, allowing holders of all types of passports to stay for up to 90 days within a 180-day period."
The agreement was signed in August by the Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Mauritius, Dmytro Kuleba and Maneesh Gobin, in Port Louis.
In June, Ukraine and the European Commission extended the “transport visa-free regime” for a year with the possibility of automatic prolongation until the end of 2025.
