
Civilians wounded as Russia attacks eastern and southern Ukraine with drones, missiles

Attack on Kharkiv
At 1:55 a.m., Kharkiv residents were officially urged to take shelter. By 2:00 a.m., the city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, reported Shahed drone strikes, including a hit on a civilian facility in the Kyivskyi district.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, confirmed a drone hit in one of the city’s districts. At least seven strikes were carried out. Updated information shows that four Geran-2 drones hit a civilian facility in the Kyivskyi district.
Also in the Kyivskyi district, an uninhabited residential building was damaged, and a fire broke out. One person was reportedly injured, according to the mayor. The full details of the attack are still being clarified.
“According to our Situation Center’s updated data, Kharkiv was hit by seven Shahed drones last night. All strikes landed in the Kyivskyi district: on a civilian facility and near an uninhabited residential building. One person injured in the attack has been hospitalized,” Terekhov said.
Syniehubov added that a 64-year-old man was wounded in the attack. He is receiving medical care.
Russian troops drop guided bomb on Kupiansk
According to Syniehubov, Russian forces also hit Kupiansk overnight. A guided aerial bomb damaged a nine-story residential building. Five civilians were injured and are receiving medical treatment.
Four strikes on Zaporizhzhia
Zaporizhzhia was hit four times, according to Fedorov. Two people were wounded.
“The enemy attacked the city after midnight, targeting the private sector. Houses, outbuildings, and cars were damaged. Two men, aged 31 and 35, were wounded. One was hospitalized. Doctors say his condition is moderate. Both are receiving medical care,” the head of the regional administration wrote.
