CIA director's arrival in Kyiv indicates seriousness of possible nuclear attack by Russian Federation - Zgurets
Defense Express analyst Serhiy Zgurets believes that the secret visit of the head of the CIA to Kyiv indicates the seriousness of Russia's intentions to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine
He expressed this opinion on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"I put the CIA chief's visit to Kyiv on a par with the negotiations between the defense ministers of the United States and Great Britain, as well as the calls of Russian Defense Minister Shoigu to his colleagues from France, Great Britain and the United States. Russia is now very actively pushing for some kind of "dirty bomb" which is supposed to be applied by Ukraine. All of this is interconnected. I want to remind you that the last time the director of the CIA came to Ukraine was on the eve of Russia's invasion. Then he provided evidence of how Russia would invade Ukraine," Zgurets explained.
The analyst believes that Russia may resort to serious provocations at the Zaporizhia NPP
"Now we get the impression that we are entering a new stage of escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian war, where the Russians' incitement around the nuclear "dirty bomb" concerns, in my opinion, the Zaporizhia NPP. Yesterday there was a report about the Russians' incomprehensible actions at the ZNPP dry waste storage facility. Therefore, now many experts believe that Russia itself can use the Zaporizhzhya NPP as a large-scale "dirty bomb" in the event that Russian troops retreat from the occupied territory of Ukraine," he added.
On October 27, CNN, citing two sources, reported that CIA Director William Burns visited Ukraine in early October to meet with Zelenskyy and other officials
