"Donald Trump’s statements are inconsistent, point in different directions, and cover multiple angles. Let’s keep it simple. First, neither Trump nor his team has a clear plan for ending the Russia-Ukraine war. Second, Trump probably couldn’t find Ukraine on a map. Third, Trump and some of his circle are still influenced by Russian reflexive control, seeing Russia as a country that can still claim to be great. Fourth, Trump, being a narcissist, thinks his words should automatically echo across the globe," Mahda said.
He added, "These are the basic things to keep in mind when judging Trump’s rhetoric and behavior. Everything else doesn’t matter right now."
