Center for Countering Disinformation publishes selection of Russian fakes for January 24

Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of fake news that the Russian enemy produced on January 24

Espreso TV reports that, according to the Center for Countering Disinformation at Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, the Russians launched three major deceptions on January 24.

Fake: Russian media reported that “in the Avdiivka direction, the Russian Armed Forces sappers dused a mine of directed action with a message from the AFU sappers: “God give demobilization to you and to us! It's not good to fight each other.” It seems that [the Ukrainian military] is gradually coming to understand the abyss into which the Kyiv regime has thrown them.”

Manipulation: Self-proclaimed Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated: “On the one hand, they ask us not to fight with Ukraine. They offer to conclude a non-aggression pact. And on the other hand, they arm them. Poland and Lithuania have gone crazy. Why do they need it? Not clear.  Therefore, we are forced to react harshly.”

Disinformation: Enemy media write that “old equipment handed over by partners often breaks down. Even after being repaired, it cannot withstand the conditions of war and breaks down. It is impossible to repair it in Ukraine and it has to be sent abroad, which costs a lot of money.”
