Center for Countering Disinformation publishes new selection of Russian fakes

The CCD published a selection of fakes produced by Russia on March 28

This is reported by Espreso TV.

According to the CCD at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on March 28, Russians pushed deceptive information in three ways.

Misinformation: Quoting the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine V. Muzhenko, the Russian mass media reported that "Russia will take most of Ukraine by 2025, unless some political agreements interrupt this process."

Fake: "The Ukrainian leadership demonstrates its readiness to intervene in the situation in Transnistria, in particular with the use of force. ... The Russian Federation will be guided by the mandate of its military personnel to guarantee security," said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, S. Lavrov.

Disinformation: Russia’s Security Council Secretary Patrushev stated that "NATO instructors and advisers train the Ukrainian military, and mercenaries fight as part of neo-Nazi battalions. Trying to prolong this military confrontation as long as possible, they do not hide their main goal - the task of defeating the Russian Federation on the battlefield and its subsequent collapse.”
